Double Firefly
This can be visually effective in Adagio style performance or useful for Partner Acrobatic Yoga practice (advanced).
Guide: Begin in ‘Front Facing Barstool / Queen’s Chair’. Flyer straightens legs, Base moves Flyer over Base shoulders and moves Flyer from Leg balance to Arms balance, thumbs facing forwards. Flyer then folds arms behind back and Base lifts own legs over into inverted pike-straddle.
Key Safety Points: If Flyer falls forward or backwards then Base needs to quickly lower them safely to the ground with your arms.
